AQUACEL® Ag EXTRA™ Hydrofiber® Wound Dressings with ionic silver (Ag) are made with two layers of Hydrofiber® Technology and are specifically suitable for moderate to high-discharge and highly exuding wounds.

Features:

• An antimicrobial barrier, protecting the wound bed
• Absorbs high amounts of wound fluid and bacteria
• Ionic silver in the dressing kills pathogenic microorganisms, both planktonic and within bacterial biofilms, including wound bacteria, yeasts, and molds
• Disrupts and absorbs biofilm, prevents biofilm formation/reformation, and increases the efficiency of silver transfer to microorganisms
• The dressing is made from two layers of optimally textiled 77 g/m2 Hydrofiber™ stitch bonded using Lyocell yarns
