Fisher & Paykel Healthcare has unveiled its new 950ANZ Heated Humidification System. The device is the next evolution of its flagship F&P 850 system and features integrated probes, a touch screen with easy controls, and the firm's Evaqua tech that reduces the amount of condensation that forms inside the system.

It is a premium performance humidification system designed to be easy to set up and use, minimize condensate, and provide advanced protection.

For operation this unit requires the below accessories to be purchased seperately:

• FP950S02 Sensor Cartridge for Operation and
• FP950X00 Expiratory Heater Wire Adaptor

Features:

• Intended for use in invasive, non-invasive, and Optiflow procedures during which oxygen and humidity are delivered in very precise dosage either through a mask or via a cannula
• Premium system performance that delivers consistent humidity over a wider range of environmental condition
• Integrated Probes - temperature and flow probes have been integrated into the inspiratory limb and sensor cartridge, contributing to easier setup of the F&P 950 System
• Interactive Touch Screen - offers selection of Invasive, Mask, and Optiflow modes via a drop-down menu, the temperature can also be adjusted to support patient comfort
• Fewer Assembly Connections - number of connections is limited to enable easy assembly and decrease the potential for system alarms due to incorrect setup
• AirSpiral™ inspiratory - protects humidified gases from the ambient conditions using insulating pockets of air and integrated wall heating along the length of the inspiratory limb
• Evaqua™ 2 expiratory - minimizes condensate by allowing humidity to freely permeate through the wall of the expiratory limb while preventing the diffusion of pathogens
• SensiDomes are silicone covers that stretch over the temperature and flow probes that provide a microbial barrier between the probes and the humidified gases, while allowing accurate measurement to occur
• Intuitive alarms - animations or text are displayed on the touch screen when the device enters an alarm state, clearly communicating the corrective action required to troubleshoot the device
