Optiflow Junior 2 Wiggle Pad

Wigglepads are primarily used to secure the placement of the Optiflow Junior 2 cannulas. This allows an easy application and adjustment of the cannula securing maximum comfort to neonates.

Features:

• Conforms to the unique shape of the Optiflow Junior 2 cannula
• Can be easily removed

Suggested Application:

• To remove cannula - place fingertip on the outside edge of the F&P Wigglepads 2 and gently peel the cannula away from the Wigglepads 2
• To remove and replace wigglepads - Lift the edge of the F&P Wigglepads 2
• Use a damp cloth to wipe the patient's skin and the underside of the Wigglepads 2 while gently peeling away from the patient's face
• Adhere the replacement F&P Wigglepads 2 to the cannula, remove the first backing tabs and stick the Wigglepads 2 onto the patient's cheeks
• Remove the second backing tabs and stick onto the patient's cheeks

Warning:

• Prongs must not create a seal in the nares, a clear gap must be visible around each prong
• Patient weight should only be used as a guide
